It's time for week two of my new feature A Perfect Ten, where bloggers talk about their top ten favourite series of all time! Today I am being joined by Shelby from Lost in a Book who has picked some great series for you all to read about!
10. The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley
A series I've been reading since I was little that is finally coming to a close.
9. The Frog Princess Series by E.D. Baker
Yet another old favorite of mine, though this one is YA. Baker takes an old idea and turns it into a wonderful story.
8. Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull
These are really fun fantasy stories I was into a few years ago, and even though I haven't read them in a while, they're making the list!
7. The Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter
These books are great, and it is so much fun reading what it would be like to be a spy (or at least how Ally Carter thinks it would be).
6. The Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale
This series starts out with a retelling of a fairy tale, but then branches out into a unique (and wonderful) series.
5. Maximum Ride Series by James Patterson
This series is amazing, and it is such a unique idea, I couldn't put them down! I think I may die waiting for the last one to come out!
4. The Leviathan Series by Scott Westerfeld
If you read my blog, you will see that I am in love with these books. They are an amazing combination of history and fantasy!
3. The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer
It seems like most of the populace either love or hate this series. I am one of the lovers, and with the amazing writing (yes again with the writing) it would be hard for me not to be.
2. Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
I am a Greek mythology geek. So a series with Greek mythology, great plots, witty commentary, and cool characters? I'm there!
1. Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
This is probably the biggest series in the world. I love it not only because of the amazing writing and plot, but because it was one of the first series I ever read, and it helped my love of books and reading grow.
Thanks Shelby for stopping by today. You've talked about some great series today - a few I've heard of and a few I haven't! I think the Harry Potter books are going to be very popular - maybe I should actually get around to reading them now!
So, let us know what you think! Have you found a new series to add to your TBR pile?

Great list. I've read reviews for the Leviathan series but haven't found or borrowed a copy yet. :D I'm slowly catching up with Percy and the gang while it's a 50-50 battle for Maximum Ride series for me to pick it up. :) Thanks Shelby for sharing your Perfect Ten list. Ohhh, booookss.
Hooray for Gallagher girls! I definitely have to check out the Percy Jackson series. My students have been talking non-stop about it.
